How tracking works
Unit variance = Ending − (Opening + IDS + TT In − TT Out − MO − Sold). Variance RM = unit variance × LM unit cost, or TM cost then IDA cost when missing. Total Cost RM = Opening × LM cost + IDS × IDA cost + TT In × TT-in cost − TT Out × TT-out cost − Ending × TM cost. Cost by Sold uses the first matching Sales Mix “Total Cost” value for each SKU, following the workbook lookup; sold quantity is summed across matching rows. Final Variance RM = Cost by Sold − Total Cost RM. Tracking is limited to SKU groups AH/P-AH and AK/P-AK.
